I've been following your posts for a couple of weeks now and I must say that as a "former" Product Manager, I really like what you have to say. Your ideas in this post about an open information policy (specifically the wiki idea) are really great. When I was doing PM work, it was all drudgery and meetings. Quite a horrid experience most often. However, the idea of an online "community-based" solution for requirements gathering is something that would have made my life much easier. Nice thinking. How reasonable is it to set something like that up? Do you need special software or did you mash the whole thing up with your own tools? I'd like to share some ideas with my current PM crew. Thanks for the posts.
